Cancel Anytime Policy
This policy explains how cancellation works for Valryn paid subscriptions, including renewal timing, access after cancellation, and billing support.

Overview
Paid Valryn subscriptions are recurring subscriptions. You can cancel anytime before your next renewal date to prevent the next charge.
Canceling stops future renewals. It does not immediately delete your Valryn account or remove your existing habit data.
This policy applies to subscription renewals. Optional habit stakes are separate conditional charges and are governed by the Habit Stakes section of the Terms of Service.
How to cancel
Sign in, open Billing settings, then choose the Stripe billing portal action to manage or cancel your subscription.
If you cannot access your account or the Stripe portal, contact support@mail.valryn.xyz before your renewal date and include the email address on your Valryn account.
The Stripe billing portal is the fastest cancellation method. Support requests are effective only after they are received, verified, and processed.
Access after cancellation
When a subscription is canceled, paid access normally stays active until the end of the current billing period shown in Stripe and in Valryn billing settings.
After that period ends, your account moves back to the Free plan unless you choose another paid plan. Features, history views, and limits may then follow the Free plan limits.
Renewals and timing
To avoid the next renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date shown at checkout, in Stripe, or in your billing settings.
If a payment has already started processing before cancellation, it may still complete. The cancellation will then apply to future renewals.
Refunds
Subscription charges are generally not refunded or prorated automatically after a billing period has started, except where required by law or where Valryn decides to make an exception.
Stake charges are also generally non-refundable when a slip was validly logged during an active stake. We will review claims involving duplicate charges, unauthorized account access, or technical errors. Correcting or deleting a slip does not automatically reverse a charge already submitted to Stripe.
If you believe there was a duplicate, accidental, or unauthorized charge, contact support@mail.valryn.xyz so we can review it.
Habit stakes after subscription cancellation
Canceling or downgrading a paid subscription does not automatically end an active habit stake or remove the payment method separately authorized for that stake.
An active stake ends according to its displayed period and rules. If the product permits you to archive or permanently delete the habit, doing so ends the active stake without an XP reward, but it does not reverse a stake charge that was already submitted.
Data and account status
Canceling a subscription does not delete your account. Your habit data remains subject to Valryn's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, retention practices, and current plan limits.
You can resubscribe later from the plans page. Paid features become available again after the new subscription is active.
